HFHE's mission is to develop a comprehensive residential university in Lake Havasu City.
History
The Havasu Foundation for Higher Education was established as a
non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation on March 29, 2004 by a group of Lake
Havasu City citizens who are concerned about the future of higher
education in our community.
The HFHE began accepting members in May and elected a Board of
Directors and officers at the first membership meeting on June 15, 2004.
Since then, nearly 1,900 individuals have become HFHE members.
Membership is free. However, sustaining Members may vote at general meetings. A Sustaining Member is one who donates at least $25 per year to the Foundation annually.
